Uneekor Eye Mini Lite: First Impressions from My Home Sim Rebuild

Uneekor Eye Mini Lite ball data

As part of a full home golf simulator rebuild, I finally made the jump to the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite—and this video was all about finding out if it was the right call.

Who It’s For (and Who It Isn’t)

The Eye Mini Lite is strictly a home-sim launch monitor. No battery, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth—everything runs through a gaming PC via Ethernet. If you want something portable for the range or need easy righty/lefty switching, this isn’t it. But if you’re building a dedicated indoor setup, it makes a lot of sense.

Why I Chose It

The big upgrade for me was club data—club path, angle of attack, and face information that my previous setup just couldn’t deliver. The Eye Mini Lite uses the same core sensors as the Eye Mini, so you’re getting full ball and club data without paying for features you don’t need.

Another key factor: third-party software. GSPro support was a must for me, and Uneekor makes that easy with the right subscription.

Setup & Software

Setup was refreshingly simple: plug it in, connect Ethernet, download the Uneekor Launcher, software and go. One standout feature is the alignment system, which shows a live camera view of how the unit sees your hitting area. It’s fast, intuitive, and confidence-boosting.

Memberships (Quick Take)

  • Player: Full ball + club data, virtual range

  • Pro: Adds Refine software and third-party sim support (this is the sweet spot for most)

  • Champion / Ultimate: Expands Refine, adds AI trainer and GameDay features (cool, but pricey)

I’m likely settling on the Pro package since it unlocks GSPro without unnecessary extras.

On-Range Impressions

What surprised me most?

  • Instant feedback—you hit the ball and it’s gone

  • Very few no-reads, especially compared to my old SkyTrak

  • No mystery shots

  • Impact video that clearly shows strike location and face movement

That combination alone makes practice more meaningful.

Bottom Line

For around $2,000 (often less on promo), the Uneekor Eye Mini Lite delivers serious data, rock-solid performance, and excellent software—if you’re building a dedicated home simulator. I’ll be diving deeper once the full sim build is finished, including GSPro and GameDay testing.

More to come.
